A nice hometown grocery store. Selection is not vast, but more basic goods are available and reasonably priced.
Friendly staff. Clean store. Daily deli. Nice store for such a small town
Prices are high, but I can understand that. But for the life of me, I could not understand how unfriendly the workers were...From the first time I went in, and after. I mean, I'm trying to spend my money there, and to be treated with no Hi just dirty looks and disgust when I ordered multiple items from the deli... I'm being truthful, I have nothing against them. I drive to Vinton or Cedar Rapids because of that now.
They made the best tenderloin I've had in a long time in their little food area in the back.
Nice for when you don't feel like driving any farther. Prices are a little higher but that's the trade off. Employees have been pleasant enough in my experience. The place is all that a small town grocery store needs to be, no more or less.
